Khaya Practice is part of WeAreBornFree e.V., together with Radio WBF and Kitchen_Practice. The library holds a growing collection of zines made by our neighbours, workshop participants and friends across Berlin, Sri Lanka, Uganda and beyond.

We understand moving a drawing or a conversation into a zine as translation, not documentation. Every zine here carries the hands that folded it.

You are welcome to come by, sit down and read. Workshops in printing, collage and binding happen throughout the year.
